This Summer Chessboxing show has something special with a WCBA World Welterweight Title clash topping the bill. Former IBF Wolrd Champion Terry Marsh capitalises on two straight Scala wins to earn a match against the reigning WCBA World Lightweight champion Dymer Agasaryan from Lithuania. Agasaryan is aiming to become the first chessboxer to hold world titles at two separate weights while Marsh aims to add one more flourish to a glittering career.

The undercard is extra special this time with crowd favourite Karl Ouch facing the Romanian lawyer Ion Citu in his debut fight. Steve “Demon” Philp is back following his amazing contest with Richard Frazer in March and we’ll see several more new faces making their debuts in this show.

Your host of the evening is Chessboxing announcer extraordinaire Matt Andrews with live chess commentary from the incomparable IM Malcolm Pein and giant digital screens mean you won’t miss a move.
