The Champion is back!
SPECIAL FIGHT ANNOUNCED – Former undefeated World Champion and former Junior Chess Champion Terry Marsh will make a sensational return to the ring for chessboxing on Saturday June 14th at the Scala, King’s Cross.
Terry Marsh was the first European boxer ever to retire as an undefeated World Champion. He is a three-time ABA senior amateur champion who went on to gain the British and European titles and also became the IBF light welterweight World Champion in 1987.
Terry is also a former London Junior chess champion and currently lives in Essex.
Terry will make his chessboxing debut against security guard and Leicestershire slugger Chris “The Ventriloquist” Powell. He made his chessboxing debut last year against George Crespo. Powell, a keen boxer, has a European Boxing Federation title under his belt.
